Ambix Spirits
Worked with Ambix Spirits, a two person run Sebastopol distillery that focuses on apple brandy and other brandy products utilizing the French Alembic distillation process, sourcing local Sonoma produce. They also have their own orchard and tasting room onsite for visitors and operate the distillation process on the property.
Label Design and Signage
The brandy product labels were inspired by the fruits used in each drink, with visuals referencing the woodblock printing process, and the history of French Alembic distillation. Each bottled product is given a unique color for the fruit graphic to differentiate them at a glance, as well as a matching wax color for the seal.

​For seasonal products other variations of the label were designed, including versions that have space for the client to letterpress the names of seasonal products specific for club members, and specialty labels for other limited release products.
There was also a need for signage on-site to help guide visitors to the tasting room on the property. Several signs were created and put in visible places when entering the gate, showing the route to the space after parking. The branding was also adjusted to be used for multiple applications, such as laser etched onto barrels used in the brandy aging process.
Website Redesign
Early on, we recognized the need for the website to be redesigned to focus on showcasing the range of products and experiences the distillery provides, including reservations for their tasting room and special events. The distillery was also planning for club memberships with multiple tiers and wanted to house the informational and historical content from their email newsletters on the website.

The content also expanded to include recipes that use their brandy products and integration with the Commerce7 platform to streamline the customer purchasing experience for the store, membership and reservations.
